i am seriously thinking about plopping down the money for a new Jaguar HH (japan model). i was wondering what the general opinions about this guitar are. i have read a ton of very good reviews but also one or two about a string popping out of the bridge? any opinions?
also, I was looking at a used Fender jaguar hh (made in japan) and where the serial number was it was stamped used but he said he bought it new. i scratched my head and looked online and saw another one. can anyone say what that means? like does fender stamp used on their factory seconds or ??????

Personally...if you want a Jaguar, get a real Jaguar SS.

If you want a Jaguar HH, get an SG.

Then you can have both of the real things. Which are both excellent and great fun.

If you do go the SG route, get one with a trem arm. I prefer it over Bixby or Fender's, that's my $0.02 worth.

Enjoy,

John, that is true. An SG with a vibrato is extra-hot.

'Really want one of those old full-harp Gibson-Maestro vibrolas, but they seem bouku rare and not in the G catalogue.

JSJH when you get G.A.S. it is 94 octane. While I can feel your pain, I'm glad it's not mine
