OK the Forum search fonction came up empty handed so I suppose I can post this. I came across this excellent BBC documentary this morning and I wanted to share it with you.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWHrXheo ... re=related

I learned a lot of things and there is a part two called something like "Guitar this time it's personal", also very interesting. Check it out. :)

Very cool, Claude. Thanks for posting!

And, uh, you wouldn't happen to know where I can find those crossroads, would you? 8)

Is there anything about the steam powered guitar?

It sits historically between the acoustic and the electric guitar.

Not that I know, but they mentioned something about Cavemen fighting other tribes by pushing big rocks downhill to crush their ennemies. And while the stones roll down they yell "Rock and Roll" to scare them. :D
Sorry, old joke but I had to do it.

 If I only knew where they are, I'd be there myself. In this version of the crossroads, I found interesting that you have to bring your own guitar and let the old man himself tune it for you. Then when you take it back you play like a god, I mean devil. Anyway, when I can spare some time. I think I'll do a little research about this crossroad stuff. See ya. :)
