Does any one know what the ohms from the speakers on a 64 Bandmaster is. I think they are 4 ohms. I want to replace the speakers. Can I use 8 ohms, 175 watt speakers like the Emenence Texas Heat or Swamp thang speakers?

You can use 8 ohm speakers and wire them parallel, resulting in the 4 ohm load that your Bandmasters transformer wants to see. Why go with 175 watt speakers though? Use two 50 watters and you'll have a 100 watt cab that will break-up earlier. Doncha want no dirt? 8) Mike
