Nope. The sig is just a line from an old Zappa tune.

Hey Greeneyesj: wow, I'm flattered by the question! I've been playing for about 22 years or so. Am I good relative to the average Joe walking down the street? I reckon you'd probably be able to get away with saying that. But ... am I good relative to some of the complete virtuosos walking around the building? No way! Trust me, working here will humble you about your playing skills very quickly. :-) As for gear of choice, I suffer from the same general "gear affliction" that many members of this forum do, so it'd take an all-out novel ... At some point, as time permits, I'll definitely share a few choice photos here and there!

Brad,

What is the work environment like? Do a lot of people have guitars/amps at their desk? Are there jam sessions?

Tim: it's honestly very much like what you'd expect -- as a general rule we work VERY hard here (I've never worked this hard or this many hours in my life, actually!) but we also play very hard. Very fun, energy-filled, family-like environment and yes, many of us (myself included) have guitars and amps at our desk. I find it extremely therapeutic while I'm working on web programming to take a break every now and then and play through some stuff! :-)

Certainly here at the offices you're going to find FMIC family products for the most part (Fender, Squier, Gretsch, Jackson, SWR, Guild, Charvel, EVH, Tacoma.) That said, a lot of us are complete gearhounds and passionate about our music -- hence it's not like we completely have blinders on about the other "flavors of ice cream" out there, if you will. Heck, just a few minutes ago someone strolled by with a gorgeous vintage example of a certain other brand that starts with the letter "G". :-)

Sure, let's go ahead and say it was a Guild. :-)

Hey Brad:

I have a few questions.

1) Have you come into contact with any guitar gods while working for Fender and do you have any interesting stories to share? If you have not, any interesting stories floating arround the office. You dont have to use names, but any funny stories or anyone musican a drag to work with? I have heard that EVH is a perfectionist. Brillaint guitarst, but I have a feeling that is "challenging" to work with. Any insights?

2) What gear can you not live without?

3) Can you get me the names and numbers of the hot fender model chicks modeling the Fender Gear? ;)
