Ok so I tried a Fender American Standard Strat Olympic White with Maple neck and I enjoyed it. I told my parents I was going to purchase it at my next guitar lesson but I had a big feeling it was going to be sold the next time I go there. Today I go back and I don't see it so I ask and they said that it was sold last friday, a day after I tried it. My feeling was 100% accurate so I ask if they can order one in and he said they had one in another city near me at one of their stores. So he calls them again because he just got off the phone with them 10 minutes ago before I came in, and he talks to the girl asking if she can ship it in and ironically it was her last week there at the store and her favorite guitar was the one I was getting. So when she leaves so does her favorite guitar. Now I have one question is that a story or what? I will be getting this guitar tomorrow with another guitar coming in tomorrow too a Fender Stratacoustic. XD

In addition I will post pictures here when I get both of them for all the people that enjoy looking at Strats like me. :P

No I'm only getting two wish I got 3. :P
Also my parents aren't that nice. They only were going to chip in 400 but I asked to use it on the Stratacoustic and Ibanez TS9DX.
I just find it a funny story for me getting my first strat.
Wondering if anyone has a story like mine for when they were buying their strat.

what I meant was they're not that nice to pay for a $1000 guitar but I love them for helping pay for my lessons and stuff :D

Also I got some pictures to post of my sweet strat around christmas time my parents are getting me Seymour Duncan Hot Rails and a White Pearl Pickguard but for now the guitar is sweet.

Next time you tell the story, please change the end to where it was your parents that bought the guitar and they surprised you with it.

Much more involving and heartwarming that way.

ya but it's not true it was my money I spent the $1500. I have one question how do you close the case my problem is the whammy bar. Do I have to take the whammy bar out each time to close it without it bending the strings?

Well, you could tell the story that way and then say "Naah, just pulling your leg, I bought it with my hard earned bread."

Yes, remove the bar each time you put it in the case.
