As i have posted earlier i recently decided to start a band with my friends in high school. I just figured I'd give an update on our band progress. After many practices, we have finally mastered our first song Revolution by The Beatles. My and my friend danny (rhythm guitar) basically improved our own solos for the song. After that practice we were all very pleased on how the outcome was. Maybe next practice we'll make a video. Any playing tips for me and my friend would be nice.

This may sound cheesy, but cherish this time. Being in a band and eventually getting to play gigs and making demos is one part of my life I will never forget. Especially if you have a local radio station that will play your demos. That was our highlight hearing our music on the local band show. Rock on, enjoy, don;t get too caught up in the politics and have fun whenever you play.

Great song to start with ... I played in back when. I have to agree with chuckbat ... enjoy every minute of it.. There's nothing like being in a band and getting out there. I still have a lot of fond memories from the years I was doing it.
