Lester William Polfuss, known to the music and recording world as Les Paul, was a guitarist and inventor who changed the course of recording history by inventing the multitrack recording technique and had a string of hits, many with wife Mary Ford, died on Today, Thursday August 13th.

Mr. Paul was 94. His Les Paul guitar designs will like Leo Fender's always be around.

Some people are irreplaceable. Les Paul was one such person.
