Lately, I've been pondering about the MIJ strats.

When I get my next guitar, it will most likely be a Squier Deluxe.

But this looks so nice and irresistable:

I feel your G.A.S. pain, my own demon is a Blond Nashville Telecaster. I played one at the local shop and I fear the hook has been set.

DOn't slay me here, but what does the G.A.S. stand for? I know it has something to do with wanting a particular geet.

I think it stands for "Guitar Acquisition Syndrome", and it's a highly contagious disease that can be spread via the internet.

G.A.S means gear acquisition syndrome. It's what happens when a musician feel this sudden burst of need for a particular instrument/accessory.

I've been gassin for way more than anyone could ever need but the one thing i want most is a custom shop tele with strat single & humbucker pickups and the single pickup from a tele with the strat headstock and pearloid pickguard on a quitled mahogany or flamed maple body in three color sunburst. Then again i'd be happy with any American Standard Tele.

The thing about GAS is that you alleviate it by making a purchase and then that purchase just leads you to the next GAS pain.

I'd like a masterbuilt Stealth Esquire, while we're GAS-ing. A primal-looking bit of wood with something extra under the hood...

Recently I sent a Dynacord tape echo away to see if it was salvageable, and while waiting for a response (still am!) I bought myself an analog delay at a decent price — for Australia, at any rate — "just in case." I feel I'm on the slippery $@!&#...

wow... I can't believe that the word s_l_o_p_e was censored... I could probably get away with being quite offensive if I remember to stick with the Aussie vernacular! Heh... no matter how fancy I get with my typing, it's still edited out. My, my. Sl*pe. That'll have to do.
