heh... Superunknown was my first CD (when I started the big changeover from cassettes), given to me by a fondly remembered ex. Yeah, I still bust out the 'garden on occasion. Chris Cornell sounds a bit... overwrought these days, but it all seemed to fit together back then — I think they'd be a good candidate for an Alice In Chains-style reunion. The fact that they're all alive is a plus, too.

I still give them a listen every now and then. I remember them to be one of the best bands back in the 90's. They have a lot of really good songs. Black Hole Sun is thier best though.

Thankfully I have seen them several times before they split. One of my favorite bands, though I don't listen to them as much as I used to, but UltraMega OK, Louder Than Love, and BadMotorfinger are awesome albums.

I was lucky enough to live near Seattle in the early '90s. Watching bands like Soundgarden break was amazing. Soundgarden, to me, was one of the absolute best bands ever. I was not crazy about them live, though; Chris Cornell always seem preoccupied with guitar playing instead of singing.

Have you heard Temple of the Dog? If not, that needs to be the NEXT album you buy. Thank me later.

I saw them open for Guns & Roses always liked Chris Cornels voice but was never a real fan. In fact I was never a fan of grunge outside of Pearl Jam and Nirvana. There were certain songs I really liked by other groups singles more or less that goes for Pearl Jam and Nirvana after the first albums to. Stone Temple Pilots was probably my favorite of all them grunge groups.

Yeah, Black Hole Sun rocks. It's basically the only song I listen to by them.

They've been coming up recently when the iPod is on shuffle, "Fell on Black Days" and "Spoonman". Very fun to sing along to in the car.

Fantastic band. Sorta shifted their sounds when they got tagged with the whole alt/grunge label (i.e. Superunknown), but kept the same vein running through it.

Cornell is the '90s answer to Robert Plant, IMHO.
