Getting ready to head down to Tempe in a few minutes for Fender's big 2009 employee meeting and Fender Hall of Fame induction ceremony! I wish some of ya'll could join me for this, as this meeting consistently manages to pack the very spirit of everything glorious and wonderful about this company in one afternoon.

This year's event will be particularly meaningful to me as I'm on the bill to play bass at the event -- just 5 minutes of bass, mind you, but bass nonetheless. :-) A few of us employee-types put together a little ditty and will be performing it with the always-entertaining Greg Koch. I've got my trusty Daphne Blue Highway One P Bass strung up, polished, tuned and ready to go and will be playing it through one of our TB-600C bass combos.

I know a few of you are still encountering occasional blockage messages while surfing these forums and I'm still tinkering with it, though the above activities naturally require my attention today. Thanks for your understanding and I'll get back on it when I'm back in the office!

THAT DOES IT! I need a new job.

When we get together it's pie charts, spreadsheets, and mindless "flavor of the month" management drivel. You guys get to rock out.

Seriously good for you Brad.

But, wouldn't it be nice to have a contest to bring some of us forumites with you?

Have a great time. I like the sound bits idea if you can manage to do it.

What's this, a driveby compliment from UNC ROB??!!!! You've really gotta stop by here and hang out more often, my friend. :-)

(Guys, Rob has worked at Fender for a long, long, long, long time and is just a fantastic feller. Please make him feel welcome!)
