My black P is named Dru. ( my drummer named it after the Buffy character, it seemed fotting so it stuck.)

My white P is named Nancy. She's a dirty girl.

I'd never named an instrument before these two.

My wife would make me get rid of my gear if I started naming them.

i named my squire Granite because the finish on the body looks like the stone. my other one i just refer to as "the acoustic" or "the Michael Kelly" because it is a Michael Kelly. yea they are both gorgeous in my opinion though.

I have a White MIA Strat that i bought new in 89 it is nicely reliced the old fasion way and has turned a nice shade of cream. i call it "Butta" because it plays like butta.
I also have a Tele natural finish that i call Woody.

My wife didn't really know what to expect when i called to tell her i was coming home with a Woody.

You should only name things that will look at you when you say the name.

LOL. I had to check and make sure my wife was not posting on the forum. She said the same thing to me when I named my boat "She".

One of the classical basses at my school has 'The Beast' carved into with car keys. It's the most beat up but we still for over it.

My first guitar--an acoustic-electric I named "JM" after John Mayer, who made me want to play the guitar; I named my Grestch (Electric) "Lydia" after the John Mayer song that made me want to play guitar (One of the lines is "I've got a city love, I found it in Lydia...") and my acoustic, which I won at a festival that was autographed by several Christian artists is names "Dicha", which in Spanish means "bliss".

I have 3 Fenders, all have name tags on their stands, all have the same name: "Don't Touch My Fender".
