Hi all, I was wondering if someone could maybe help me out. I just found a smoking deal (200CAD) for a used Epiphone Galaxie 25 tube amp. I've read reviews and hear about the dreaded hum that some have experienced, but when I played it all of the hum came from the guitar's single coils. Muting the volume killed it. The reverb seems iffy, but I can live with that. What I'm wondering is whether anyone here has one, has had one, or wants to get one and, if so, what are your experiences?

They are not bad amps at all. I thought they had good reverb. Might need a new 12AT7 in the reverb circut.
