Matt Schofield, Matt Schofield.....oh and also Matt Schofield!

I can't stop listening to and learning this guys stuff. I think this guy could be the best blues player out there right now. He's no shredder but very tasteful.

Let me know what you think. He's a super nice guy and the band is a cool format too...he's currently playing with Johnny Henderson on Keys and Kevin Hayes on Drums. Johnny handles the bass parts also.

Matt's got a 61 strat and a Two Rock Custom reverb and a small collection of pedals, a Providence OD2, A Klon Centaur, A delay and power supply. That's it.

Matt actually lives not too far from my house. I saw him play at a tiny venue called Peters Player's a month or two ago. Got some close up shots of his board and gear, shook the mans hand and then sat 6 feet from him all night. FANTASTIC! :mrgreen:
