I've got Aerosmith on my mind tonight, released in 1987, "Permanent Vacation" had a number of hits. One of the hits is "Hangman Jury" this is a re work of an old Leadbelly song, Taj Mahal also recorded it as well. There was some confusion over who had the "rights" of the tune. I guess after it was relased Leadbelly's estate sued Aerosmith, Im not sure of the outcome.

of course you are not supposed to know them! lol ! its a band from my country that plays rock. not the kind of music i usually listen to but they are cool !

I've got "Live Bullet" going right now, I have always liked Bob Seger, Its just great Rock and Roll!

Lets give a listen to a track from this 1976 release "Bo Diddley" this tune really gets it! I hope Ya"ll know where it comes from[H] but if you don't... The one and only Bo Diddley recorded this (self titled) single in 1955, it was an immediate hit. If your learning to play guitar (like me) this is a good rhythm to learn. Heres a tube link
