Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, the Big Bopper and Don McLean's American Pie of course.

I was 14 and a big fan of all 3.

Gil

The new Dean Martin "Amoré" CD. Dino's voice is incredible, but some of the 1950s backing vocals are downright cringe-inducing.

Don't ya just hate when there's something so Dated in the middle of something so Timeless.

I'm listening to Eric Clapton Live at Monteux 1986 and Greg Phillinganes Keyboard parts are Very 80's, very Cheesy, and nearly kill Cocaine. However he really nails Layla and In The Air Tonight so it's still a great DVD.

Bought a stack of old vinyl with a lot of 50's and 60's stuff. theres an album by Charlie Feathers, wonder if he's related to Chet!!

Kinda cool, old 50's style rock, sorta like gene vincent stuff.
