Sherlock says, "Brrr it's cold out here. Let me in so I can post at the Fender Forum and listen to theme radio and eat some Fender brand dog biscuits with you."

Ha - I'm a 63 year old retired guy. My birthday was a few days ago. My only job is to relax, relearn the guitar, and in really good weather enjoy driving my Miata with the top down. Very Happy Can't do the last one yet - too much snow on the ground up here. So I'm just practicing and listening to music and taking care of the dogs.

nice. time to move to Florida

Humm, no thanks. A visit to Florida a few times a decade is enough for me. I took my granddaughters and my daughter and her beau back in 2004 for a week long trip to Disney. We all had a blast. I traveled to Miami 4 times in 2005 and 2006 to do some work - that was enough.

I love it up here in the cool north. I love winter. The snow has been on the ground since the beginning of November.

I don't know why I assumed you were listening to that as part of a job. Talk about jumping to conclusions.

That picture looks a lot like the trees around here. In the San Bernardino Mts.

Here's my Cat Penelope on the porch and her Daughter Syllvya coming down the Path. And, just to stay on topic, I'm watching the Cream Reunion, so I'm listening to Cream 8)

Don't worry about the job thing - happens all of the time - I'm still getting used to being retired.

The trees are Eastern Red Cedar - related to Western Red Cedars that grow so nicely out west.

We have them planed around the bedroom sides of the house to shield the house from the wind. They were about 4 feet tall when we moved into the house in 2001 - they are now about 10 to 12 feet - we will have to trim them back soon.

And to stay on topic - I'm about to watch and listen to David Gilmour's Remember The Night - a really great DVD.

Patty Larkin's "Watch The Sky." Patty wrote, performed, produced, engineered and edited this project. The 12 songs were conceived in the barn of her Cape Cod home last winter, where she overdubbed vocals and more than 12 instruments, including slapsteel (a detuned lapsteel played with a drumstick and hand).

VH1 Classics is playing Twisted Sister, I Wanna Rock.

Questionable way to start the day :? I'm putting on Crossraods 2007 right away, before they hit me with Poison or Slaughter.

I remember Foghat. I used to play a couple of their tunes. "Fool For the City", "Chateau LaFitte '59 Boogie"...Lonesome Dave Peverett was a great singer/songwriter/guitarist. It was just about this time of year when he lost his battle with cancer back in 2000, if I recall correctly. RIP!

As a matter of fact, I think I'll listen to some of "Rock & Roll Outlaws" for awhile now.
