Honestly, I don't hear a difference between the two. All things being equal, they have the Gibson setup, and both are strung with the same D'Addario ETB92M Nylons. Just the finish is the only real difference. The two sets of Humbuckings seem equal as well. The two basses were made up three weeks apart, so there's a possibility they have the same components. The bodies could even be from the same batch of lumber. Three weeks is nothing in the manufacturing.
