I know that I am late on this one, but I am finally listening to the John Mayer Trio Try! album. I have to say I have a whole new appreciation for Mayer.

I've been listening and watching the performances from the Fender Stage @ NAMM.

The ones with Dick Dale and his son Jimmy are really, really good. Check them out - http://www.fender.com/blog/?p=123

Found a forgotten set of CD-ROMs loaded with MP3s in my tape room, and I've been dumping them to iTunes while I do some book work... They Might Be Giants, Yoko Kanno's awesome soundtracks from "Cowboy Bebop," Pat Metheney Group "Still Life (Talking)," and some goofy 8-bit synth-pop from the video games "Katamari Damacy" and We (Heart) Katamari" that are a total gas.
