Listening to all the bands from the Tom Hanks' documentary The Eighties.

Interestingly, it was said that the 80s was the only decade to have most everything in music: Rock and Roll, Disco, R&B, Girl Bands, Music Videos with a new second British Invasion through MTV, Rap, Garage, College Rock, Protest songs, Glam Rock, New Wave, Alternative, Hip Hop, and more.

Never thought of the 80s that way. Quite a change from when distributors picked up and destroyed thousands of surplus non-selling vinyl albums of bought out contracted bands in the 70s. Only the good survived.

Today, the bad also survive because the distribution costs have tanked (although, this can can benefit us with gems we would not have heard under the old system) yet a sucker is still born every minute IMHO. Digital works for everybody. YMMV :D
