Listening to my late brother's well kept record collection which I inherited. He was a super fan, and I'm thankful to have these; but, it was the kinship that definitely meant more.

Meanwhile my turntable is playing Jethro Tull albums, Burton Cummings, Neil Young albums, Emerson Lake & Palmer albums, Yes albums, Chicago albums, Creedance, Alice Cooper, Beach Boys, Three Dog Night, Arlo Guthrie, Deep Purple, Hunter's Point Riot (aka H.P, Riot), various Beatles albums including a boxed George Harrison, plus many others.

Although, many songs are already on my playlist, it's great to have the full and other albums. Besides, that's more album art for the Man Cave wall that I intend to cover on my to do list.

That's pretty cool, although a sad way to acquire them. The only thing I have from my late sister was a couple of Led Zeppelin CD's and a U2 CD that she let me borrow before she died and also a Tupperware container that she left here when she lived with us for awhile. I also never deleted her cellphone number in my gmail contacts (she wasn't on the internet at that time, so no email address.) I guess it's like some sort of memorial, or I just couldn't bring myself to delete this. At least you have these to remember him by, although I know what you mean by the kinship.
