Josh Clayton Felt – Inarticulate Nature Boy

This guy was the lead singer/guitarist for the 90s band School of Fish. I saw him open for Tori Amos in 96 and had no idea who he was but thought he sounded “Like that guy who sings for that band School of Fish”. Turned out i was right. I was amazed at how much one dude on an acoustic seem to just entertain the crowd. Enjoyed his performance so much that I didn’t feel like I even needed to see the closing act of the evening. Went and bough his Album the next day and I still love it. Not a virtuoso but just good catchy positive tunes. He played all the instruments himself and its all self produced and recorded. Sadly he died a few years later at the age of 32 from cancer. Glad I went to that Tori Amos show or I wouldn’t have caught that opening act.

Today was record store day. Got a ton of new vinyl that I'll be chillin' out listening to. However, this is the crown jewel of the haul, and will be going on the turntable momentarily.
