I just can't respect anyone who says that Slash is overrated. Note the use of the pinky. He's insane. I think he's better than Clapton. Different style, yes. Yes...indeed...Slash plays CLASSICAL. Unlike Clapton, he needs his pinky for that. He gets points just for the stamina here too. If you have time, you'll notice he plays 12 straight insane minutes with no break and no tuning. He plays classical for about 8 minutes with insane speed and precision and then goes straight to Sweet Child. I never saw a video of Hendrix playing nearly this fast or clean, let alone both. The early middle part of this is when he gets straight insane during the Godfather song.

Classic, "old school" Chicago (back when Terry Kath was alive). This clip on You Tube is from Chicago's early days (1970) showing Terry Kath going wild on a Strat on "25 or 6 to 4". (The tune actually starts about 1:03. Before that they are just hanging around, helping Danny Seraphine with his drum kit, etc... and then Terry Kath just starts jamming away). 8)

Thanks for posting, they are a favorite band from my home town. I saw them once in London 1974.

Yup... Chicago was incredible. I saw them twice (once in the mid 70's in Terry Kath era, and sadly afterwards later on, even after Peter Cetera left). They still jammed, but you could tell something was seriously missing. :(

Nowadays they are still good and all, but they are totally not the same band. Robert Lamm and Chicago's horn section are the only original members left. They have a bunch of younger guys on stage with them now. The guitar player they have now rocks from what I've seen in recent clips. But their bass player? Yuk.... Dude, seriously... Stop... You are NOT Peter Cetera... You may play his bass parts correctly, but your vocals are so off, it's glaringly bad. :?
