Same here. overlooked this for years, even though DSOTM is an all time favourite. Animals has some great stuff by Gilmour on it.

Revolver - The Beatles

The British releases still trip me up after having listened to the Capital versions for decades. I know the song order by heart so now when I play the EMI CDs there are songs that weren't on my old vinyl -- "I'm Only Sleeping", "And Your Bird Can Sing" and "Doctor Robert" were missing from the U.S release.

A couple of years ago I bought a top of the line Pioneer 200 disc CD player and I have it loaded so far with 157 of my favourite rock albums including all of The Beatles studio albums and the Anthology sets, all of John's solo releases, all of Elliot Smith's recordings, early Stones albums,Matthew Sweet,Matthew Sweet with Susanna Hoffs,All The Smiths , Morrissey,Death Cab For Cutie,Nada Surf,Rogue Wave,Soft Cell,Naked Eyes,Butch Walker and a pile of others. I have it all on random play and the beauty of it is that there aren't any songs that I don't like, although some of Yoko's freeform wailing is hard to take and I have to hit the "skip" button.I have 43 more CDs to load up and then I'll have a lot of great listening that is way way better than the drivel that's on radio these days.

Been a while since I sat and gave this a proper listen from beginning to end...Damn that was an incredibly tight band and Duane sure gave Eric a push and a half!
