well, i'm not EXACTLY sure, but i have posted a picture before, and i thought you just had to copy the code into your post. i might be wrong, but if not, you could always just post a link for us. hope i helped.

...You probably couldn't work it out because it's simpler than HTML:

These types of bulletin boards use BBCode for such things, which just consists of a tag at the beginning like this: [img]http://the-URL-of-your-image-here[ /img] <-- (I've put a space before the slash in that closing tag so that it would show up)

The buttons up the top of the reply field will give you those tags if you don't want to type them.

If in doubt, the easiest thing to do is to find a post containing a picture and then quote it (using the "Quote" button up top). It will get copied into your reply field and you can analyse the code (such as it is) from there.

Thanks guys. if i can't figure it out from here then i really AM stupid

btw, the pics will be in an appropriately titled thread in the Jazz Bass forum in the next few days. the badassII bridge is on the way, and the polyurethane is curing. once she's bolted back together and strung up, i'll put all the pics up.

Hi Delta66: it can be even easier. If you have a photobucket account already then just hover over one of your pictures and a little drop down menu appears. Click on the bottom of those four lines of script (which will highlight in blue) and you can copy and paste it in to a post here. Like this:

So you don't even need to mess about typing code or clicking buttons on the post page. Any further doubts, hit the quote button on my post here and you'll see what I did.

Cheers - C
