A TON of Tele's  That would be like 220 tele's unless it's a long Ton for our English members then I guess it would be 246  Thats just a average guess but WOW

I KNEW there had to be some advantage to being from the UK!

Oh well, guess I'll just have to settle for wishing for the puny American ton o' teles. :D

Oh theres loads of advantages being a UK ctizen than being a citizen of any other nation. But lets not go into that here, eh? :P

After all you'd only get jealous. :P

Thanks for sparing my tender ego Nikininja.

The real joke is that for a while (not sure about our current status) a little country inbetween france and holland said we weren't allowed to have ton's, pounds or ounces. They even sought to control how bendy our bananas were. Whatever happend to the empire? The mighty land of industry, invention and scientific discovery.

So in reality the american ton is far greater than the now defunct british ton. We do however have the absolutely best 1018 killo's on the planet, providing you take the killo to be 2.2lbs.

Yeah, the rest of the world has been trying to tell us that we can't have our "messy" Imperial measurements. But like everything else the rest of the world tries to tell us...we ignore.

Damn pig-headed Yanks!!

Hey atleast your goverment isnt controlled by a load of polliticians that have nothing to do with your nation. If thats pig headed then call me porky cos it just sounds sensible to me. Even the Usa has more say in british pollitics that the british public does. Were like the 53rd state. Or if you count states obama style the 59th.
I wouldnt mind one fella telling me what to do is much the same as any other, but I still pay british taxes when yours are so much less.

That sounds like an absolutely infuriating situation Nik.

Not to hijack the thread, (Welcome Back St. James :) ) but truth be told I have always found British politics to be a subject which defies my understanding. I just don't get it!?

Welcome St James!

Johnny A (from Malden, MA) has been gigging around New England all summer. Is that where you are?

I had a very cool several hour phone conversation with James last night. It had been over a year since I last talked to him. He is looking forward to hanging out here when time permits.

Like I said, James has a very long music history and I look forward to his input here.

Thanks so MUCH for the warm welcome guys..CHET has had NOTHING nut great things to say about you guys and it seems as if I may have found my secret hang out !!!!!!

I'm doing a gig THIS WEEKEND in PA with JOHN LEE HOOKER JR and then AUGUST 12 with GUITAR SHORTY....it seems the ALLIGATOR RECORDS FAMILY uses ya where ever they need ya.

Honestly to be on stage with those names is an HONOR !!!!

Hopefully soon I can announce when our RETURN TOUR will begin...DANG I'm like a little kid on CHRISTMAS......
I lost my contract back on 84 when on MTV LIVE I bad mouthed my record company.(not a good career move)
'
Then after the death of some very close friends .JOHNNY RAMONE< JOEY RAMONE DEE DE RAMONE, ARTHUR KANE JOHNNY THUNDERS, STIV BATORS and many others who did not make it through the PUNK ERA.

AT least when STIV passed I got the job as lead singer for THE LORDS OF THE NEW CHURCH which lasted ONE ALBUM but a GREAT One...they wanted me to JUST sing and I wanna PLAY !!!!!!

MAN this place is too good to be TRUE !!!!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome and CHET it was great talking to ya...remember if ya have any questions about what we discussed CALL.
I may be at practice or n the road...leave a message and I'll get it and get back to ya....

Peace,
St James
