I've heard of a lot of problems with the princeton recording amp, including on this forum. What do you mean by "crash"?

Mine just makes a big popping sound when I turn it on, no matter the volume.

Three tiimes now it has blown the tubes and the power transformer/supply
Smoke and everything. is there another amp in the fender line w/ tube driven spring reverb that won't break the bank?
