Good slug of vodka, tia maria, top up with coke......with ice....nice! :D

If I am not mistaken, that is called a Black Russian. Add a dash of cream and it is a White Russian.

Despite the dangers, I still prefer to drink Dihydrogen Monoxide (http://www.dhmo.org/truth/Dihydrogen-Monoxide.html).

It seems to only really work well with coke in glass bottles and the old 10 ounce size is the best.

Can only find them on rare occasion at the grocery or at Trader Vic's, but well worth it.

You probably can't stand the though of Dr. Pepper and peanuts :D

All of you in the U.S. prepare your iced tea differently than us Canadians don't you?
We have the sweet powder mix but don't you guys just drink steeped tea that has been chilled?

There are two ways to make really good iced tea.

# 1. Boil a big strong pot of tea using several tea bags. If you want Southern-style "sweet tea" you should also add sugar to the saturation point while the tea is hot. Then fill your glass to the very top with ice and pour in the still-hot tea. The ice will dilute the strong tea and cool it.

# 2. Make sun tea. Fill a large glass jar with water and throw in 3-4 tea bags. Let the jar sit in the sun for a few hours until the tea is nice and strong. Pour over ice.

It's up to you what brand of tea bags you use, but I guess most people use Lipton or Luzianne. Our Brit friends may be surprised to hear that I prefer to use PG Tips for my iced tea!

The coke makes it a Tall Russian. A Black Russian is just vodka and Kahlua.
