I know that there is a huge variance in the ages here, so rather than a poll, just a simple question with one answer will work.

Iced coffee for me

For Summer Time, gotta go with Iced Tea or Lemonade, and since I have to pick just one, of course I say:

an ice cold Arnold Palmer

Gin and Tonic (or bitter lemon, just can't find it often).

Try that gin & bitter lemon with some crushed ice TC, used to enjoy that myself. These days.... Ice cold coke, with a slice of orange or lemon, I'm a bad diabetic

Well, on a hot day. A tall glass with a good slug of gin, a shot of melon liqueur, top up with lemonade and add the ice......beautiful. 8)

Bit of a faff, but I really like a Moscow Mule on a hot day. I've seen plenty of bad recipes. This is the real one:

Ice in a tall glass
Couple of measures of vodka
The peel of a lime
The juice of a lime
Some peel of a cucumber
Top up with ginger beer

That business with the peel sounds like bull - but it seriously adds great things to the taste. There's oils in the peel that really help it along. You truly will notice the difference. Strongly recommended - take it from an ex-barman!

Cheers - C

Mine is Barq's Rootbeer. It has become a staple for my summer grilling escapades the last few years.

Cold water with some lemon and lime slices in it; I sometimes also add oranges and strawberries.

The only summer exclusive beverage I drink is water from the garden hose.

Everything else is all year round, especially a nice iced coffee.
