Before these legends pass away .......

1. Chuck Berry

2. Little Richard

3. Fats Domino

4. The Everly Bros.

5. Scotty Moore

What a treat :D it would be to see them all together at the same time !! I would also include Jerry Lee Lewis in there too. Just imagine the stories
these pioneers could tell .... PBS    should get these people together and have a special show ( and the others too who were there in the early days of rock ).

Humm... I've already seen who I wanted to see. Most concerts are for rich people now.

Which is why I didn't get to see Eric Clapton. $75 for a seat in the nose bleed section? Yikes!

I'd still like to see him someday though.
I'd also really like to see B. B. King. And Buddy Guy, and Jeff Beck.
And Jimmie Vaughan again.

Yeah... too much. I feel sorry for my kids. Back in my days, I think the most I paid for a ticket was $15.00. Most times, though the concerts I went to were "Dance Concerts" or "Festival Seating"... Those were like $5.50 or so. My brother and I still had cash left over to buy a beer or two.

I even got to see The Police and it didn't cost me $200.00... Just sad... Not what Rock n' Roll is all about, is it? :(

Just to keep this thing on track, though... I can list 5 of my favorites from back then:

1. The Mahavishnu Orchestra and Frank Zappa & The Mothers
2. Johnny Winter And...
3. Ten Years After
4.Alice Cooper
5. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

I've been to them all but Pink Floyd once already, but they'd be worth seeing again.
