Has anyone else heard of the group Warrior?

They were a Southern California Heavy Metal band back in the 80's. I remember seeing them at the Troubador in San Diego along with Airport and Surgical Steel, (Rob Halford singing), around 1986'ish. As far as I know they only produced one album: Fighting For the Earth.

They were one of my personal favorites and remain so today. I like their sound which to me felt somewhat primal and represented what defined the true Heavy Metal genre of the time.

I don't know why I brought this up, other than I have been listening to them of late and they take me back to a bygone time when I was much younger and more carefree.

Yeah, they were pretty good. To me they sounded a lot like WASP with a touch of Iron Maiden mixed in.
