Hi Roger_ally: welcome to the Forum.

I don't know that model well so don't take this as catagorical. But there are still a handful of models left in the US catalog that are made in Japan and I have a foggy idea that Jaguar might be one of them.

It also might not - but be aware of the possibility.

The factory of origin is not given on the specs on this website, and Fender have been steadily moving models over from Japan to Mexico, as far as sales outside Japan are concerned. So at any given point in history looking at the neck is the only way to say for certain.

Not very helpful, but slightly...

Classic Player series, definitely Mex.

$900 for a mex guitar, ouch. Gotta love the Jaguar and JazzMaster tough.
