My friend's mom is going to go see Aerosmith on this tour--I'm so jealous. :P

Saw the Areosmith ZZ top show in PHX last night .Was treated to some cool suprizes, Fender was well represented

Thanks for the pix gratz. How was the show? They're coming to my town and was wondering if I should pull the trigger for tickets that are $200+. But I suspect you wont see ZZ and Aerosmith on the same venue.

Of course my daughter just dropped $180 to see Taylor Swift so maybe $200 is a bargain for future Hall of Famers.

I have to say that I think Joe Perry is just about an average player in my opinion. I think he is very unoriginal. Also, I could say the same for Aerosmith. I do not believe they ever had anything much to offer in terms of rock n roll, and then just some teenage soppy ballads when they were 40 plus year olds- bizzare

I'm a Joe Perry too. I saw the Joe Perry Project back in '80, and talked with him for few minutes (he's a little dude).

I also have a autographed copy of his '05 solo CD [Dual CD] 'Joe Perry' http://www.amazon.com/Joe-Perry/dp/B0007OTWS0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1248821316&sr=8-1. What makes this CD special is that there is a DVD with a documentary about Perry's Boneyard Studio, and his vast guitar collection.

It also has four songs you can re-mix using Umixit software. I learned more about mixing in two days than had in years.
You know everyone man

I love the pictures, thanks, man!

Was this a left-handed Strat? It almost looks like a Tele neck:

Paulie G then I guess you were not old enough in the 70s or eighties. They were as good as it gets then but I will agree when they started writing the formula based ballads one after another was pretty brutal. As far as Perry goes he is a dynamite player that is kind of hard to define. He writes great riffs and plays for the song but for a lead guitarist with 40 decades worth of recording he does not have a lot of memorable solos. I saw them at Jones Beach when pump came out and must admit it was just a great show.A tight $@! band with one of the greatest front men ever doing there thing perfect.
