well, i've written many songs with my guitar, but i've never (successfully) written lyrics. none that sound good anyway. so i poured my feelings about politics, the media, and this war (i'm conservative btw) into a song.

i think it sounds really good. it's not finished yet, all i have is an intro, a verse, and the chorus. i also haven't written a guitar part yet. (i wrote the song down at 2 o'clock last night lol) but im planning on putting a solo in it.

i would post what i have, but im afraid that someone would steal it. i trust the regular people on this forum, but some lurker could use it as his own.

when i finally finish it, i'll be sure to make a video of me playing the guitar part at least. once my friend gets some drums and we find a singer, (i suck at singing) then i might be able to post the whole song, but that'll be a while.

just wanted to say that, as i am very excited.

thanks guys! i'll try to finish it and eventually get a video up. that won't be for a while though do to some complicated circumstances, but i'll definately give you a heads up when i do.

Its a rare talent to write good lyrics. Everytime I tried, they always came out sounding like something a 5 year old would write.
