I think Al Davis will wait to see what his 40 time is first. Good candidate though.

The actual living owners will probably worry a little more about the PR nightmare.

Not my team though, so more pain to them.

Nope, I'm still a fan of NFL football.

I think the Ravens should see if Vick would like to try out at the receiver spot. I never like him as a QB because of his pocket abilities but the dude had moves and speed. He did a horrible thing and he went to jail and now he's out its not the place for the NFL to add more punishment to him. The NFL is not above the Justice system.

Agreed Chet. Is there anyone in that whole league who isn't a criminal or a Dou######. Brett Favre is a jackass, plain and simple. Monuments could be built to his arrogance. Vick murders animals, Stallworth murders people and Travis Henry deals drugs. When a league like the NFL aspires to be as clean cut and moral as the NBA there could be a problem.

The NFL is quickly turning into a joke.

I could never give up watching my Green Bay Packers.

Boy, am I glad that the Favre-Headache is now purple and gold coloured!

Sounds like your talking about the Kennedy family.

I agree it is not the place for the NFL to add more punishment, HOWEVER it should be the job of the NFL to put the players at a higher standard. Criminals and riff raff do not belong in the NFL. Vick was found guilty of murdering one of God's creations and although he served his time it is still an inexcusable act. He is not the type of role model I would want my children or grand children to look up too.
In my personal opinion he and several others who are still allowed to play professional sports should be banned for life!

Thats something for a team to enforce in the manner of releasing the player. Ted kennedy killed a young girl and was allowed to remain in office for 8 terms, Robert Byrd was a ranking member of the Klu Klux Klan and he has been a Senator since 1959. Bill Clinton was having his way with a young girl in the oval office these are people that have been voted to office what about there morals. We are supposed to hold and athelete to higher standards then our elected officials  If Vick was not sent to jail I would be for the NFL doing something but he was jailed and served.

Yes Chet I love My pets and can't imagine someone doing what he did but he did loose a lot and went to jail for it and if a team take him on it will be a media circus I don't think the NFL commisioner needed to do anymore then that. And these politicians should have been jailed but fools with no knowledge armed with votes are dangerous.
