I have a Yamaha AW1600 I use. I really like the clean quality I can get out of it. Nothing fancy in my line up but I also have Marshall MG250DFX, Roland JC77, Casio WK3500 I use to get strings, bass line, etc. , Boss DR-3 for drums, Perception 100 mike. All the songs on myspace were recorded with the AW1600.

I bought Sony Acid Pro not too long ago, it's a really good and easy to use program. But I'd only recorded with a crappy web cam computer microphone. But for Christmas I'm getting the JamLab USB guitar plug in. I'm excited to get to record with that.

I have a Digitech Jamman that i've been using to create loops, and I think i'm ready to go to the full recording mode. I've seen a Lexicon Pro Omega desktop recording studio at Musicians Friend for around $200 bucks. Any Pros or Cons on this particular gizmo?
Any other suggestions ?
I'm PC based.

I have the Lexicon Lambda that has fewer inputs, but I don't need a lot of them. Easy to use, provides a good clean signal. Got Cubase LE with it which included the Pantheon reverb plug-in. Unfortunately, you cannot use the plug-in with anything other than Cubase. I use the Lambda with Sony's ACID Pro 6 and Sound Forge 8.

How do you like the DR-3?
Can you make your own basslines? How realistic is the sound?

hate it that Cakewalk mp3 converter have an expiry date

which i can play better
but audio recorders currently in the market not so good yet
they are still new and developing
maybe after 2 years

I bit the bullet and purchased a Boss/Roland BR-600, but have a few questions:
Is there an easy to follow titorial that anyone (perhaps Thouston?)
Can the BR-600 be connected to an amp rather than using the headphones?

I just got it the other day, and I'm not all that good at reading manuals ...
