On the form, under the dealer information fill-out portion, there's a check box "Check here if this was an internet or catalog purchase".

Some i-net dealers will also fax you a signed rebate form if you call and request it.

Go right to the Fender home page and click on the rebate info. The next screen you will be able to download the form. Print it and take it to the store with your receipt and have them sign it. The online store can also sign it if you get a fax # and fax it to them. They will need to fax it back after they sign it. Then send it to Fender.

I would call the online dealer and tell them you have the form and see if they can sign it and fax it back to you. The local store may have to have a store # of the online dealer in order to sign the paper.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP RANDY.

I JUST GOT AN EMAIL FROM GC. IT SAYS:

There is no need for our signature on the rebate form. You can just fill in our name in the space provided. If you send the C.O.I. (Copy of Invoice) with the rebate that is your proof of purchase and that is all that the rebate needs from Guitar Center.

SO I GUESS I'LL JUST SEND IT IN AND HOPE FOR THE BEST. THANKS AGAIN. ROB

Your welcome Roburb,
I think you'll be fine now. As an added precaution you might send it registered mail to Fender which should require a signature when it gets there.
