Excellent, EllenW..! It's nice to hear you singing on Ball & Chain. That's something I'd love to be able to do. Things sure went more smoothly than at my first performance... it was a school concert, and I was playing a blues in Bb with a walking bass line that I could hardly get through at the best of times. With the spotlight on me, I couldn't see my fret markers (there weren't any on the fretboard itself) and I promptly got lost in a chromatic wilderness. My music teacher thought it would be character-building for me to go out and forge ahead with it regardless not just once, but a further two times. I died an agonising three times in a row, and still can't handle the limelight. Or the key of Bb.

(well... 25 years on it's not quite as bad as I make out, but it's far better to get off to a flying start -- congratulations!)

Oh neat! Well done Ellen: that's that bridge crossed.

Now, at this rate you'll soon be playing Madison Square - will you be offering Forum members comps?

We'll be there!

Congrats - C

Great Job!

Who doesn't love hearing Ball and Chain?!!!

Say what you will about his three chord songs, Mike Ness knows how to right REAL Rock n Roll songs.

That was great for your first gig Ellen!! 8) I would not dare put mine up but then they did not have video then! How come the drummer and bass players did not play with you? Keep it up as it only gets easier each time. Oh, great singing too!!

Way to go Ellen!! you did a great job there, pity nobody jumped on the drums and bass to back you up but now you are a true stage performer you'll be able to demand that next time.
Glad it went well. How did it feel ? scarey but nice eh ?
Looking forward to your next gig. How about a tour of the UK ?
Well done. 8)
