Jimmy Page for the 70s. Creative, unique, ingenious.
Jeff Beck for the 2000s. Very unique tone and style.

Having seen the big 3 live a couple times each, I would have to go with Beck.

What a legacy that band had, where you can have a debate like this.

My ranking would have to be Beck Page then Slowhand.

Until seeing them live, I would have put Page first. Zep in my mind is by far the strongest material any of them put out. But after seeing them all live Beck absolutely blew me away. The other 2 were great live, but Beck has become an absolute monster of a player.

Why would you leave out the guy before Clapton?

And include Dreja too!

I think Jeff Beck has become the best of them all!

You mean Anthony "Top" Topham?

I'd still vote for Beck.

I've only seen Clapton live of the three of them, but Beck would be my top pick of the three.

I do believe all three influenced my playing to some degree.

I read that Beck didn't tune his guitar in those days, just bended the notes to pitch, if that's true, I guess we have a winner

I sure like them all but I would have to go with Beck, he seems to continually take his playing and technique to new levels - like there is still great undiscovered territory.......does that make sense?

Clapton in the '60s, Page in the '70s, then Clapton since.

I didn't get Beck and I guess I still don't, especially the more experimental stuff. Technically he may be the best on the planet, but many times his guitar doesn't sound like a guitar.

I can't split these three, they have all done so much great music.
Contributed so much and inspired so many, including me. 8)

Clapton.

He used to own this castle/hotel about half a mile from my house, but not any more.
