Alright so now that Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo (and SY's guitar techs) have been rewarded for their groundbreaking Fender guitar mods. I suggest a Doug Martsch Stratocaster. He is the Godfather of Indie Rock after all.

Forgive my ignorance but, never heard of him.
Maybe I should get out more.

Okay, now that I've listened to some of his music. Convince me as to why he deserves a signature guitar. I will say he is a talented guitar player but few people outside of the "indie rock scene" has ever heard of this guy. In my opinion the music is fairly generic indie pop, however "Going Against Your Mind" is a catchy tune.
Good guitar player, okay I'll give you that. Not crazy about his voice, in fact I'd rather listen to a dentist drill but again thats my opinion.
I still respect your opinion though.

Hey Mascis got a signature jazzmaster? I don't think it's that much of a stretch. Considering Doug composed almost all of BTS's catalogue I'd say there is more than a little talent there. No need to get Holier than thou. Just a fun thought.

I don't think anyone said he didn't have any talent. On the contrary I said he seem to be very talented. I just don't care to hear him sing, he doesn't have a voice that I like.
I would think that you have to have more than talent to have a signature guitar. Although there are players out there with signature guitars who I don't think deserve one and then there are great players out there that don't have a sig. guitar. Go figure.
I just don't think Doug Martsch is well known enough to warrant a signature guitar.
Hey, I'm not trying to be "Holier than thou" I am just stating my opinion.
It's all good Bro.
