It's one thing to post a thread like this when you're new and don't realize there are already a million pic threads. It's another thing to understand that and make a new thread anyways, then tell people not to complain about it. I know, I didn't have to click the link, but this kind of stuff really clutters the forums, quite senselessly.

That's the spirit :D get them posted dan 8) I know we have had lots of pix threads, but as this is exclusive to Fender guitars, I thought I'd add a new pic of my humble Fender family. I love that Tele Gratz 8) I want one

Hi tdanb, no I think only Strummer could make a guitar look like that I just threw it out there for the haters, a little red meat because the hatred thread wasnt getting any action ,just alot of chest beating and the flinging of fecal matter

If there's one thing better than a Tele with a bound body, it's a Tele with a double bound body! Too tasty - Snowy: I'm wondering if you just picked that up in a regular shop or from one of the specialist Japanese Fender sellers out there? I happen to know that one of those is based in Scotland.

Talking of which, I just heard that my MIJ, on order for many months, has finally arrived in the country. Collection and pics next week...

BTW: I'm ignoring your Am Deluxe Tele. That one's had far too much lustful attention from me already (sigh...).

:D - C

Hi Gratz: Love your Tele.

A moment of left-field boasting: not only have I seen the original played on stage, I have the strange claim of having slept in the same bed as Joe Strummer...

OK, two weeks after he vacated it, and I was promised that the sheets had been changed. But that's my close brush with punk rock stardom!

(Stayed at the house of mutual friends...)

Cheers - C

Hi Ceri,
I picked the CIJ Tele up in GuitarGuitar in Glasgow, I didn't intend buying a guitar, I was only taking the Deluxe in for her 1st set up. I went downstairs to the tech workshop, and low and behold I saw her! It was love at first sight, I was smitten  I took her down off the wall, and plugged her in to a rather nice messa boogie amp. I spent about an hour messing around, all the while thinking..... have I got £600 to splash? The answer of course was a resounding No! So I called the salesdude over and said, " I'll take her" The rest as they say, is history.
