Hmm...buzz noise. This could be:

1. 60 cycle hum from the pickups caused by fluorescent lighting, computer screen, or maybe bad electricity. (buzz lessens when your hand is on the strings)
2. Stock tubes in the HRD are usually biased very cold, resulting in crossover distortion at certain volumes (buzz comes and goes)
3. Could be fret buzz if your guitar is set up poorly

First I'll say yes, the guitar and amp do work great together, fender guitars + fender amps = awesome. Now, first make sure you don't got any computer screens or fluorescent lights to close to your stuff. Next, probably go for new tubes, the stock tubes aren't very good, there is much better out there. I prefer JJ tubes from eurotubes.com, but everyone's got their own preference. Lastly, make sure your guitar sounds good unplugged, if you hear too much buzzing or something is outta whack take it to a tech.

This is all I can think of atm, hopefully it helped a little ^^
If you can be more specific about da buzz I or mebe someone else can help more :)
