I really could not say. But I will say I am a huge Brian Setzer fan and always wanted the model he plays. Well many years ago I found one and almost bought it with out even plugging it in. Well when I did plug in I could not play that guitar for $@!&. After playing solid body Fenders for so long it just felt so weird and uncomfortable in my hands. I sat there for two hours trying my hardest to connect with it but had to pass. So make sure you check one out before you do anything.

The White Falcon is the very definition of class amongst guitars! I would love to own one!

I just bought myself a Gretsch G5120, and I love it to bits. The Falcons are cool, if a bit ostentatious. My 5120 is the classic Gretsch orange, but I've always maintained that white guitars -- and especially white guitars with gold hardware and the weird, bent Bigsby -- are a little flashy. On the other hand, the Falcons sound really quite good!

Yes, I've always wanted a White Falcon myself, been on my gas list for a long time, never tried one out but something about it says it's gonna be beautiful. 8)

It is the Dusenberg of guitars.

How about the smaller size White Penguin for comfort?

I know this isn't a White Falcon, but I took a picture of a matching girl and Gretsch at NAMM

Hi,
Yeah you if you can swing it, you wont be sorry. I have a 5120 (sunburst)
It was a little different than my Fenders, but I seemed to "meld" with it quickly.

Good Luck
Bill

Most of the vast array of guitar brands and models call to a relatively small audience, the Strat, Tele, LP etc being exceptions.

But if a White Falcon is calling you, might be you are meant for one another. That is a serious princess with strings.

Best of fortune.

Yummy - I want one!

I mean the guitar, obviously; not K T Tunstall. I'm married...

She plays a nice silver sparkle 1963 Gretsch Silver Jet, too.

Cheers - C
