Thanks Guys! I have thought about doing this several times over the past few years and never acted upon it. This time I did and to tell you the truth I'm quite excited (and a little nervous) about it. Classes start Aug. 19 and run through Dec. 18. My family and friends are quite surprised and very supportive of my wanting to do this.

You'll be amazed by how much you know, but you just don't know the names of.

My added bonus was that I was in my mid 20's and the class had a bunch of cute girls who needed help, and I was the only experienced guitar player in the class.

Wow! I never even thought that something like this would be offered at a community college. I was kind of looking for something like that and wasn't sure where to look.

That sounds like a good idea!!! My Dad plays professionally and started teaching me when I was about 10 but then after a couple years they divorced and we moved so been self taught since. Now I have about 35 years of bad habits to break.

I'm a single Dad and have a year or 2 before the kids are old enough to leave home alone so was planning on taking private lessons then but maybe Community College would be better.
