Wow...first I've seen of this. I'm also fighting re-currence of cancer. I was diagnosed last year, had major surgery, some minor surgery and 6 months of chemo.

I wasn't able to "feel" the guitar strings well due to neuropathy from the chemo.

Can you?

I'm not on Facebook....do you have any other blogs online since your diagnosis?

Blessings!!!

Extremely touching.

Without a job or money, I can't donate. I will spread the word around, though.

BTW, where can I get a nikininja super compensated nut? You removed the info from your sig.

Ah Mr Walley they will be available shortly. I've just quit smoking and cant concentrate too well at the moment, i also halved my zyban intake to speed the process up a bit. As soon as all thats out the way.I feel a little better each day so it shouldnt be more than a week or two. I'll be back on the case. If the email button in my sig isnt activated i'll be activating it soon. Just press that to get to me.

Seriously considering not accepting payment for nuts, just get folks to make a $10+ donation to Brandon on the lounge forum. A good idea? What does everyone reckon?

Nikki,

I just made a donation, but do not need the Nikkinut (thanks for the consideration, and yes, a very good idea). This is very generous of you to do this for Brandon and I feel this is a worth wild cause. I hope all goes well with this. I would not want this to happen to any family member, but especially my child. My prayers go out to Brandon and family. Sorry I missed the orginal post.

RK

Felt this needed more attention. (Bump)

WOW! I've seen this thread bouncing around the lounge for 14 days now and can't believe with all of the post of new acquisitions of guits, amps, pedals and other toys (myself included) we were not able to generate the $140 for shipping and an additional $250 for a modest amp. Obviously there are several of us with enough disposable income to throw a few buck this guys way.

Having seen first hand how cancer can ravage not only a body, but a family, I have nothing but complete empathy for young Brandon and those close to him (same for you Miami Mike). I would think a few dollars a small price to provide this young man a few moments of joy in a day otherwise riddled with tubes, needles, and a non stop barage of tests and scans.

14 days is long enough! I call upon you, NO, I challenge each of you to make a donation today! I Have a small amp I'll gladly donate (its by no means anything special) and will pay to ship it myself in addition to a donation to get niki's guitar shipped.

WOW. Serious generosity and kindness here. PM Brandon for his address, he lives in southern Utah. I'm very glad he checked in here. I wish we could get this kind of generosity on facebook, he has over 8000 fans, if only they would all chip in a buck. Had a good long chat with Chad (Dad) the other day on FB, tough times for the family, but Brandon is one tough cookie.

Thank you so much...

I'm in complete agreement with you Thumbs, another fine gesture getting the amp to Brandon 8)
Fax, please pass on my regards to Brandon and his family, I'm rooting for him here. Keep your chin up B, hang in there pal, all the best.

Fax,

I posted a message on Brandons Fb fan page (pm'ing is not possible from the fan page) this morning in regards to the amp, but have recieved no reply. All I need is an address to ship to and it will be on its way.

This is a link to my FB profile. Send me a friend invite (please identify yourself in the invite) and you can message the shipping info to me there (for discretions sake).
