Brandon is the son of a friend of mine from High School (Canyon High in CA Class of '88 ). He has a huge group of friends on facebook. He really wants an electric guitar to practice on, and I thought this group may be sympathetic. If you get a chance click over and say hi and hang in there. Check out his videos too, he has a couple of some of his playing.

Thanks,

So kind. I have made a donation to his fund, perhaps see if he would like it on facebook and maybe someone would pony up some shipping.

Thanks for the offer. Do you know how much the guitar weighs? I'm going to look into how much the shipping would be.

I'm a beginner. I only had that acoustic guitar for a month or so and taught myself to play some songs. It helps me pass time in the hospital. I left it in the hallway outside of my hospital room and someone took it. I have really wanted a electric one anyway.

Thanks for being so cool.
~Brandon

Lets help this kid out. Anyone who's reading this i strongly suggest visting the facebook page and seeing what this kids going through.

Can anyone tell me if there will be import taxes into the USA and if they are applicable to charitable donations? Its only £86 to get the guitar to the lad.

Brandon is getting some money from donations on paypal. He is willing to pay the shipping from those funds so it is a great way to donate to the cause (he is also hoping to buy a small amp with those funds). If you look at the photo of ninja's guitar that i posted on facebook, his dad Chad said he is trying to figure out shipping. Thank you all so much for your generosity.

Did Brandon get the message from my wife (Alycia) on face book? I asked her to get intouch over that site to keep communication easy.

I commented on your wife's post to help it stand out a bit more. With over 6,000 fans it may get a bit much for Brandon to sort through. I'll also send Chad a message too.

Just an update. Talked to Chad, Brandon's dad, and he has only gotten about $200 in donations so he doesn't have enough to ship the guitar, and buy an amp. I wish people would just donate a buck or two, I know times are tough, but if you have a paypal account slide a buck out of it. Such generosity here, and he can't even afford to ship it.

Thank you to all that donate.
