Gordon Waller of Peter and Gordon died. For the younger members, they had several hits in the 60's which were written by their friend Paul McCartney. (I guess because at the time Paul was going out with Jane Asher, who was Peter Asher's sister.)

Later on, Peter Asher was better known as a record producer. I read that they got back together in 2005 and even had some dates scheduled for this year.
