Yes, but NOT Jefferson Airplane's Jack Cassidy.

The grand kids stayed with us for the weekend and went home yesterday evening. I guess I'm still in, "high gear".

john5 when he was with manson, his talent was way under used. However with Rob Zombie he gained a lil more attention, but he is still under used. His solo albums are great.

Ooo - so many.

Nils Lofgren toured with David Bowie. I hope he got paid well, cos I could see no other reason for him to be there.

I read about the great classical and Spanish training Dominic Miller had in various parts of the world before starting playing for Sting all these years. Never seen a sign of any of that training being put to use on Sting's stage.

And from a different slant: Mark Knopfler's brother (remember his name?) said that he made suggestions for rhythm parts to Mark - who replied; "Do anything you like. It makes no difference; I'm the only one anybody's listening to." Seems the rest of the band got the same treatment, which perhaps explains the Straits' personnel attrition rate.

Clearly Mark Knopfler regarded himself vastly more talented than the rest of his band. Which, to be fair, isn't far off...

Cheers - C

Hey, how about Stevie Ray Vaughan? He played on Bowie's "Let's Dance" album and I believe was going to go out on the tour but then got fed up with the situation musically and quit. Nothing against Bowie, but that really seems like a mismatch.
