but i wanted some opinions on what the best bass amps in the 200-300 dollar range are. I haven't been able to try any out yet but i am leaning towards the behringer BXL1800 at the moment.

For that price range, you might try a Fender Rumble.

I have a Fender Rumble 25 and it sounds great and is plenty loud.

ya i was also looking at a fender rumble 60 i have a rumble 15 right now i love but its just not loud enough

I had the Rumble 60, sold it. It rattled the walls and windows.............. at the neighbors house.

GREAT!!! i think that is amp i need right now i am being drowned out by the guitarist line six cabinet and our other guitarist is lookin at a line six 75w i needed something to be able to keep up

I purchased a Peavy bass amp for about $200 and I've been very satisifed with it. I can't recall which model it was off the top of my head.
