I'm just wondering why the ads on FOX say,"This year it counts." I thought that last year was when the winner of the all-star game started to determine who had homefield advantage in the World Series...or was I just a year ahead, or does it count in some other manner this year?

Okay, so nobody else wants to particpate in voting here...and nobody else wants to participate in the recording collaboration thread...no worries.

I guess I'm excited about this game tonight because last year I watched it from a hospital bed following a major surgery after being told that I had cancer and it feels GREAT to be in a different environment a year later.

Well the the winner was no suprise the National league has a way to go before there talent reaches what is in the American league. I mean the national league has talent but not in the numbers of the American league. And when will we ever get away from singing God bless America in the 7th? I have been to about ten ball games this year so I am just ranting becasue I miss the old get the crowd work up music so I will now just shut up.

That's what's stupid and ridiculous about their advertising...saying "This year it counts." Well it counted last year too, and I thought this was a decision that will make the All-Star Game count every year...To me thats like the IRS saying April 15th is tax day, and this year it counts...so my taxes for every other year didn't count? I'm just saying it was a dumb ad campaign for FOX...
