Seeing that many ball players also play music, here's a quick 10-hour poll...whoever doesn't lose....

Like athletes, musicians are well advised to learn their craft as well as follow their muse. Practice might not actually make perfect, but good practice habits will get you a lot closer to your goal. Top athletes and musicians know that good technique, self-discipline, good work habits, situational awareness, and proper conditioning make a big difference in their ability to reach their potential.

Athletes and musicians also want to live their dream. Amateurs and minor-leaguers play hard, aspiring to the big leagues. Meanwhile, they ride old buses between small cities and towns, patiently building their skills. Most will never make it, but that doesn't stop dedicated players or musicians from giving it their best shot.

I'm just wondering why the ads on FOX say,"This year it counts." I thought that last year was when the winner of the all-star game started to determine who had homefield advantage in the World Series...or was I just a year ahead, or does it count in some other manner this year?

Home-field advantage in the World Series will once again go to the winning league in tonight's game.

Okay, so nobody else wants to particpate in voting here...and nobody else wants to participate in the recording collaboration thread...no worries.

I guess I'm excited about this game tonight because last year I watched it from a hospital bed following a major surgery after being told that I had cancer and it feels GREAT to be in a different environment a year later.

I've never seen the President of the USA throw out the first pitch before...and in jeans!

Tim Linecum has a 'bionic' arm! Looks like a rock star with that mane!

Game time....polls are now closed.

Well the the winner was no suprise the National league has a way to go before there talent reaches what is in the American league. I mean the national league has talent but not in the numbers of the American league. And when will we ever get away from singing God bless America in the 7th? Enough already it is a baseball game not a Love America rally no one is going to forget 9-11 we need to go back to the get it stomping music!!!! John Denver singing Thank God I'm A Country Boy!!!! Political correctness yuk yuk The Families who sadly lost Loved ones on 9-11 got Million and Millions because someone went to work and got killed. It sadly happens everyday in America and those families get nothing from the goverment. If a Police Officer gets killed in the line of duty there Family does not get 10 million from the goverment we have let this political correctness crap get out of hand. I have been to about ten ball games this year so I am just ranting becasue I miss the old get the crowd work up music so I will now just shut up.

Sorry for the rant!!!!

Even though it wasn't a lot of votes, the Fender.com community once again showed that they knew what they were talking about!!!

That's what's stupid and ridiculous about their advertising...saying "This year it counts." Well it counted last year too, and I thought this was a decision that will make the All-Star Game count every year...To me thats like the IRS saying April 15th is tax day, and this year it counts...so my taxes for every other year didn't count? I'm just saying it was a dumb ad campaign for FOX...
