Hi all,

It's been far, far too long since I've had the pleasure of reading the Fender board! I've been in Australia visiting family for the last month, and even though I got home a week ago, I've been so busy getting back to work and re-organizing virtually everything in my place that I haven't had a spare minute.

I must say it was sure nice to play my beloved Tele again! More importantly, I also picked up a new guitar this week - a Gretsch G5120 in the classic orange finish. I wound up trading an Epiphone Les Paul (that I bought for $400 five years ago) for it, and couldn't be happier. I've always wanted a Gretsch, and I've always wanted a Bigsby-equipped guitar. I've been given to understand that Gretsch is now a subsidiary company of FMIC, so I should say that this guitar is "sort of" a Fender...I'll post some pics later this week!

Off to bed now, but it's good to be back!
